We were a group of 4 young entrepreneurs that shared a passion for gastronomy and world culture. But we were unsettled that certain ingredients and culinary arts were progressively being forgotten.

We then decided to found Merci Mercado to locate and "rescue" those forgotten ingredients that contain great gastronomic, cultural, and social value.

We work closely with local producers and respect their values, traditions, and their environment.

Merci Mercado aims to preserve our food products’ authenticity as much as possible and bring them to the chefs and lovers of fine cuisine around the world.

Our food products are not only exquisite, they meet the highest standards of quality.

We decided to start this journey with certain edible insects from Mexico as they reflect Merci Mercado’s core values: Sustainability, Versatility, Health, and Deliciousness.
